Peto is a provider of cloud based software as a service (SaaS) combining technology with market mechanisms to generate and sustain procurement savings on low to medium value recurring purchasing. Our focus is on the public sector and in particular the NHS. Drawing on a number of years experience with the largest NHS in the United Kingdom Peto has developed a platform which, working alongside inhouse teams, can deliver and sustain lower prices in a cost efficient fashion.

Peto is grounded in the need to deliver results, real procurement savings, day by day augmenting existing operations and teams rather than information which needs to be acted upon by over stretched inhouse teams.

The Peto platform aggregates and compares purchasing data from multiple users in real time using proprietary algorithms to identify the lowest price for a product/supplier combination and comparable combinations to deliver a real current market price against an individual requisition. This flash market price is augmented by quotation requests to deliver the best possible outcome for users. The platform then completes the cycle processing the outcome back into the users own system.

Iain Mackinnon started his career at a firm of accountants, where he spent seven years, becoming a partner. In 1997 he left the firm to establish his own FSA-authorised Corporate Finance boutique, Pinder Mackinnon & Company.

Procurement Team Leader

Tracy has worked in the engineering and healthcare sector for the last twelve years where she has gained a vast amount of experience. Tracy has worked at Peto for seven months and is the leader of the procurement team.

Elmairah Boado
Accounts Assistant

Having previously worked in a Health care sector Elmairah decided to broaden her experience. She has achieved AAT level 2 qualification and is now working towards AAT level 3. She has been with the company since October 2017
